As owner & designer, Emily has over a decade of experience helping homeowners maintain, preserve and enhance their homes. After receiving her master’s in historic preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Emily worked for the Chicago Bungalow Association assisting homeowners of vintage homes with energy efficiency grants. Desiring to work in home restoration & rehabilitation, she moved to a design build company in Oak Park. Now on her own after working in preservation design & construction for 10 years, Emily understands the complexities of historic homes, how to direct owners towards thoughtful and practical solutions for restoring and maintaining them.

Emily lives in a 110 year old brick foursquare in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood with her husband and two kids.
